About the Recipe
A delicious and healthy treat made with dates, nut butter, and chocolate.

Ingredients
10 Medjool dates
¼ cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
10 whole almonds
½ cup dark chocolate, melted
1 tbsp crushed nuts (optional, for garnish)
1 tbsp shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smooth melted chocolate)
Preparation
Prepare the Dates
Slice each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit.
Stuff the Dates
Fill each date with a small spoonful of almond butter.
Place a whole almond inside for crunch.
Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Coat the Dates
Dip each stuffed date halfway into the melted chocolate.
Place them on parchment paper.
Garnish
Sprinkle with crushed nuts or shredded coconut while the chocolate is still wet.
Set and Serve
Let them cool in the fridge for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
